So I thought I would try something a little bit different with this post and give you all some good hip hop remixes and mash-ups. Also, I'll try to get back to putting in newer songs (with the exception of Know Your Genre); I've just been trying to spread some good older stuff.
And, now the blog is the third most popular google entry under "run-bpm" too. Score.

The remix by Ratatat off their second mixtape (which I'm told you can get for free online somewhere). Has the guitars and organs anyone who knows Ratatat would recognize, plus hip hop beats. Off of the Viva La Hova mixtape, this is a mash-up of Jay-Z and Coldplay. A bunch of producers collaborated on the mixtape, and almost every song on it is great. I've included the link to the main site for the mixtape, hit it up (it's free too). Other good ones include the mash-ups of Clocks and Trouble.

A mash-up of Eminem's "Lose Yourself" over the beat of Mobb Deep's "Shook Ones, pt. II", from KonTempt who makes a lot of these (google him). There's no YouTube of the song, but trust me, the mix is right on and if you like either song, you'll probably like this one.
